libapp-cmd-perl software package provides Perl interface to write command line apps with less suffering, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libapp-cmd-perl
libapp-cmd-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libapp-cmd-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libapp-cmd-perl *
You will get with libapp-cmd-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
